The Isabel Province Program Coordinator assist to provide technical leadership and support to the communities, local NGOS and government staff whom the conservancy partners within Isabel Province. S/he is familiar with marine, terrestrial and turtle conservation programs, as well as the environmental and social issues that face coastal communities in Solomon Islands. The Isabel Province Program Coordinator is experienced in managing diverse teams of stakeholders, scientists and conservationists, and provides training and mentoring to groups; both in a classroom and practical settings.  S/he actively mentors local conservation groups to build their technical and management expertise and is skilled at building government relations. The Isabel Province Program Coordinator is also an experienced boat operator, and travels frequently by boat to remote locations for extended periods of time. S/he works closely with other national and international TNC staff to advance Solomon Islands conservation programs. As well as the primary focus in Isabel province, Isabel Province Program Coordinator fosters cross-site learning among national conservation community.
