Kosrae Conservation & Safety Organization (KCSO) held a Board Orientation and Development Training followed by a two-day Strategic Action Planning (SAP) workshop from February 3-5 in Kosrae. The sessions brought together KCSO board members and management to strengthen governance and update the organization’s Strategic Action Plan for 2026-2028.
The workshops were supported by The Nature Conservancy, Micronesia and Polynesia and skillfully facilitated by staff members Berna Gorong and Shanty Asher. With their expertise, participants were guided through both governance strengthening and strategic planning processes. These workshops form part of TNC’s broader commitment to building local capacity and advancing community-driven conservation across the Micronesian region.
